Larry and Lexy were born and raised in the Smithville and Plattsburg areas. We moved to our small homestead in December of 2018 and named our farm Silent Spring due to the 40 foot deep well marked by our Windmill.
Lexy grew up in the agricultural community, participating in FFA and 4-H while helping on the family farm. Larry grew up visiting his family farm throughout his childhood. He was a welder by trade after serving in Operation Enduring Freedom & Operation Iraqi Freedom in the United States Marine Corps. Now, he has given up his corporate life to stay home on the farm and raise our family.
Lexy started making soap in 2014 as something to bring to the farmers market with her home-grown produce. With the support of all the locals, the soaps soon became a high demand item around the holidays. In 2019, we started offering our hand-made soap year-round from the farm.
To pace the soap and raw milk sales in 2019 we made the purchase of our first ADGA Alpines at our new homestead and in 2023 the LaManchas. Lexy has a soft spot for the earless wonder goats.

Everything we do is for our family and the community around us.

Our Boys Emmet and Eli love going out and doing chores.
